Hannon Westwood’s GProfile tool plays out the development of potential reserves within a time sensitive commercially based profile.
Typical outputs include standard commercial metrics such as:
NPV
EMV
PI
Cash flow
Production profiles
The ability to vary oil price, tax, inflation, cost of capital etc. is also built into the model.
The first prototype is available on Hannon Westwood’s GIS platform and allows for rapid live interaction and study in a workshop environment in any selected areas on the UKCS of any size.
The second generation of GProfile is called GProfile15 and allows the analysis to rebuild the model using up to 15 different geological play types. Because of the special design construction of the tool, the 15 sector programme can also reassemble the resource in any area, based on plays, or based on companies, or pipeline catchments - any configuration that simulates either target acquisitions or competition. During 2008, GProfile15 will be installed on HW’a GIS platform to allow even more rapid enquiry and live workshop interaction.
